Held twice a year, the Canton Fair is China’s oldest and largest comprehensive international trade event. At this autumn session, the robotics, smart manufacturing, and new energy vehicle sections became the main highlights, where visitors lined up at high-tech booths amid bustling crowds and flashing cameras.
This was no ordinary Canton Fair. On October 18, China and the United States agreed to hold a new round of economic and trade consultations, adding confidence to the global business community. For enterprises engaged in international trade, the Canton Fair remains a crucial platform for seeking certainty in an uncertain world. With over 10,000 high-quality exhibitors for the first time and the introduction of AI-guided tours, this edition offered global buyers a spectacular showcase of new productive forces and intelligent manufacturing.
As a biannual event, the Canton Fair is regarded as a golden opportunity for foreign trade enterprises to explore business prospects. It reflects the keenest global market trends, driving Guangdong’s manufacturing industry to continuously upgrade its offerings with high-quality, diversified products that capture worldwide demand—turning high traffic into high value.
According to the China Foreign Trade Center, by the close of the first phase on October 19, the fair had welcomed approximately 157,900 overseas buyers from 222 countries and regions, marking a 6.3% year-on-year increase in attendance.
