With strong national support for the integration of culture and tourism, as well as the rapid adoption of digital entertainment and smart scenarios, emerging applications such as immersive experiences, smart venues, digital-intelligent entertainment, and metaverse innovations are continuously creating new growth opportunities.

Mr. Richard Li Qingxin, Executive Director of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. and Chairman of Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co., Ltd., stated that as the Guangzhou Exhibition enters its 24th year, it has become an irreplaceable strategic platform—connecting the world, leading Asia, and deeply rooted in China.

Driven by innovation in application scenarios and the co-development of a global ecosystem, the exhibition will integrate worldwide resources to support Chinese brands in going global. At the same time, it will continue to build a full industry chain ecosystem platform, positioning the Guangzhou Exhibition as both a “launchpad” and a “accelerator” for industry innovations.

Scale and Layout: Grand and Comprehensive, Building a New Industry Ecosystem
This year's exhibition is remarkable in scale, covering an exhibition area of 220,000 square meters and bringing together over 2,200 exhibitors. It is expected to attract more than 110,000 professional visitors from around the world. The appeal of the Guangzhou Exhibition lies not only in its size, but also in its comprehensive and well-established industry ecosystem.

In terms of hall layout, this year's exhibition has been meticulously planned and optimized. Zone A, serving as the hub for professional audio and system integration, features eight interconnected halls on the ground floor, covering brand pavilions, pro audio halls, and accessories zones. On the second floor, five additional audio brand halls extend into a broader range of application scenarios, including conference and communication systems as well as integrated multimedia solutions.

Zone B sees a comprehensive upgrade of its lighting sector. For the first time, Halls 9.1, 10.1, and 11.1 on the ground floor are dedicated to professional lighting, forming a coordinated display across six lighting halls spanning both floors, creating a more powerful and large-scale lighting cluster.
Meanwhile, the newly upgraded KTV & Digital Entertainment Zone is located in Halls 12.2 and 13.2. Building upon the traditional KTV segment, it introduces immersive entertainment experiences and works in synergy with the professional lighting halls, exploring new development opportunities in the integrated “Culture + Tourism + Technology + Entertainment” ecosystem.

These new additions inject fresh momentum into the industry's development.

Mr. Yang Dequan, President of the Pro Audio, Lighting & AV Industry Alliance, spoke highly of the Guangzhou Exhibition. He praised it as the leading event in the industry, noting that over the past 24 years, it has grown in tandem with the sector, sharing success and progress. It has not only witnessed the remarkable journey of numerous domestic brands—from their inception to expansion, and from local markets to the global stage—but has also helped them shine internationally.

This year, the Alliance will once again deepen its collaboration with the Guangzhou Exhibition by hosting a grand Industry Alliance Summit during the event. The gathering will bring together industry elites to discuss future strategies and jointly drive the pro audio, lighting, and audiovisual industry toward a new level of development.

The “Sound & Light for Dreams · Shaping Careers for the Future — 2026 Guangzhou Pro Audio, Lighting & Film Industry Talent Matching Event” is jointly organized by the School of Audio, Lighting & Film Industry of Guangzhou Software Institute, the Guangdong Association for Sound, Image and Lighting Technology, relevant industry associations in the Greater Bay Area, as well as multiple universities and technical institutes.

Focusing on key challenges in talent matching within the industry, the event aims to build an efficient recruitment channel for enterprises while providing a precise employment platform for professional talents.

The speakers shared insights on the industry's developments over the past year, including changes in market scale and technological applications. They noted that while emerging trends such as the integration of culture and tourism have created new growth opportunities, the industry also faces multiple challenges. Ms. Ma expressed strong agreement, emphasizing that in today's complex and rapidly changing market environment, the Guangzhou Exhibition's ability to maintain both its scale and quality against the trend in 2026 would not have been possible without the support of exhibitors, industry associations, media, and other stakeholders.

Looking ahead, the Guangzhou Exhibition will continue to pursue innovation and transformation, expand into diverse vertical markets, and introduce a wide range of concurrent events—bringing fresh ideas and new momentum to the industry's development.
